I’ve had a positive experience with the doctor himself—he is knowledgeable, kind, and I would recommend him from a clinical standpoint. However, I’ve had ongoing challenges with the office staff when it comes to referrals and prescription refills. Communication and follow-up have been difficult, which has made managing care more stressful than it should be. I hope others have a smoother experience with response times and support for medical requests.

After going to Dr Gregory Burzynski for many years, being very satisfied, recommending others to his practice, I asked for a short-term refill, due to being unemployed for 5 months. The request was denied, even after explaining the situation. I guess it's more important for me to NOT have thyroid meds than to fill for 1 month, so I can procure health insurance & time-off from a new job. I've NEVER received a reminder that's it's time for an appointment. I will be finding a new physician; the inflexibility is not acceptable.
