I've given negative Google reviews to doctors a grand total of zero times before this but the sketchiness of this guy, his 80s era payment system (ie, mail that requires an envelope and stamp in the year 2025), and the fact that I had zero choice in having this guy redundantly interpret my MRI - when my surgeon is undoubtedly doing that on his own already - easily warrants not only a bad review but I am contacting my insurance in a (likely futile) attempt to end this practice. Slapped with a bill 3 months after having an MRI for a sprained wrist. Thought I was finally done paying off this nonsense.
I just got a bill over 1 year later from this Gregory R. Applegate, M.D for supposedly reading my MRI which my Orthopedic ordered. I already paid for the MRI and my Orthopedic to read me my MRI so why is this guy that I never met or heard of asking me to pay him?????
Did not report my mri properly and refused to write an addendum, even though my xrays showed a congenital anomaly. Had to wait months for another radiologist at Cedars Sinai to properly read my mri. Would not recommend.
