Dr Halenda was a gentle kind urologist . Unfortunately he’s now retired.
We were looking for a doctor who is skilled in urology. We found him! Everything went well with the surgery! He's very honest and direct. We like that!
My visit was horrible with Dr. Gregory Halenda. I seen this doctor on April 30th. My name is Wayman Macklin. I felt rushed he took a personal phone call at the same time telling me I got cancer. I will never go back to this office again.
My first visit was with his PA and she was great. After she was done Dr Halenda came in about 30 second visit. Was to get a sonogram and an X-ray. Was asked to have the tests on a disc. Waited 20 minutes to have this done. My next visit was with Dr Halenda and when I handed him the disc he gave it back to me said he did not need it, spent about 3 minutes and asked if I had any questions and said I should repeat the tests for what. Not going back.
He is one of the VERY best doctors I have ever been to. He takes his time and gets to know his patients. I highly recommend him.
Better than so called experts at UPMC.
My dad had went to him for kidney stones and he was great! I went in with severe kidney infection and pain and was treated like crap. He came in for a minute asked how I was sitting there and walked out to leave his PA finish. Follow up was a joke his PA kept running out to consult with him. I was pushed off as wanting pain medicine when in fact I just wanted answers and a solution. Not the assumption! Very disgusted. Second opinion and got answers and not judgement Patient bathrooms are filth.
Can't say much about the physician, I only saw him for a second. Was pushed off to assistants. The office is terrible. Very poor office manager and staff.
Dr. Halenda wanted to perform a prostate biopsy without anaesthesia. I demurred.
