Dr..Ortenberg refused to treat my son, who suffers from Asperger's syndrome, and is "in desperate need of dental care" by his own words, because I caught him in the act of interrogating my 18 year old. He was grilling him about tooth numbers? Who knows tooth numbers? He didn't realize I was there , I had just returned from the bathroom. "What tooth numbers are we working on?", "I don't know..", "Don't you know what you're here for?" I stepped in and stated gently that "I know." Dr. Ortenberg has a wonderful bed side manner. He explained my root canal to me (my first) very patiently and thoroughly. He allowed for questions during the procedure. Then after it was done, painlessly i might add, he answered questions again. I highly recommend him!
