I recently had an appt with Dr Skeens in Encinitas. I had an issue with a broken filling and was seeing Dr Skeens for the first time. The office staff, dental assistant, and Dr Sheens made my experience wonderful. Dr Sheens communicated with me throughout the process to repair by tooth with a temporary crown. I also received a follow up call directly from Dr Sheens the day after my appt to check on how I am doing. I highly recommend Dr Sheens if you are searching for a dentist in North County.

First visit to Dr Skeens was the best visit I’ve had in my 60+ years of dental service. From the moment I pulled into the parking lot, to my exit, I felt like I was the only patient they had. The entire staff saw to my every need including asking me what tv channel I wanted to watch. The exam itself was the most thorough I’ve ever had. Lucia, Lee and Sarah could not have been more friendly or welcoming, and Dr Skeens was the most professional, comforting dentist I’ve encountered. So refreshing to have a dentist that I can trust to recommend and perform excellent dental work. Cleanings are wonderful, relaxed and happy office atmosphere, I receive answers to all of my questions about my teeth and the financial/insurance issues, I'm never left waiting for long periods of time, excellent text reminders before the visit, even an opportunity to complete paperwork at home. The best dentist I had in my 68 years. He is one stop shopping when you need dental care. He went above and beyond safety protocols when reopening. You can tell he wanted the patient to feel that they were in a extremely safe environment. I appreciated it very much. 👍🏻
