D&R has transformed how we live on the land in numerous places around New Jersey. Without the efforts of many committed staff and volunteers, we would: 1) be surrounded by much more development; 2) have lost critical farm land and open space; 3) have destroyed important habitat, critical to sustaining biodiversity; and 4) have reduced the quiet and restorative places to experience by ourselves and others.
