For whatever reason, Dr. Zajdel popped in my head this morning! And what a wonderful, empathetic, informative physician she is/was. I had my son, Calvin (after the comic strip!), on 6/22/1993 at what used to be called Bon Secour Hospital. I had a pretty severe problem with pre-eclampsia. I spent 22 days in the hospital, laying on my right side, before he was born by emergency C-section, and another 4 days after for a total of 26 days...that time. Also two other weekends.
