Dr. Gouveia is an awesome doctor and sad to hear she moved out of El Paso, Texas. To many doctors leave are our city for better opportunities and pay. If we cant pay our doctors better money , then we just get " The Student" or some doctor passing by.
If you're a VA patient, literally go anywhere else. The Dr. is nice, but she's pretty uninvolved, and it's almost impossible to talk to her directly when an issue comes up. The office staff do their best, but the receptionist is often moody, and they all seem a little lost when it comes to how to navigate the VA system (then again, aren't we all). They DO NOT know how to bill the VA/TriWest, so you WILL have billing issues--up to and including bills in the mail that are being threatened to be sent to collections. The biggest... read more
Dr. Gouveia IS THE BEST!!! She has taken care of my son for years & ALWAYS cures him. She is a very kind & caring person. Cares about her patients & their families. Her staff is WONDERFUL....Love Carmelita. She's so professional & caring as well. I would never change Doctors.
