I’ve seen many wonderful doctors in Lubbock, and deeply appreciate and admire so many of them. Still, I’ve never experienced a doctor’s appointment quite like the one I had with Dr. Shome. He is professional, thorough, and communicates clearly; at the same time, he is empathetic, friendly, invested, and reassuring. I had the worst skin allergies when I saw Dr Shome. Everything He advised worked for me! He has the best bed side manners ,friendly staff, runs on time @ spends plenty of time and communicates very well ! I have recommended Him to my friends and will continue to do so!
Dr Shome over prescribes medicine. My son has the occasional runny nose and he prescribed him a whole host of medications and tried to shame me because I did not want to just give him (2 year old) 3 separate daily medications. Especially when we had not noticed any real issues other than a runny nose. We had simply gone for a food allergy confirmation. I have heard this same thing from other parents and friends, I will not be going back to him.
Dr. Shome was very kind respectful and knowledgeable. He explained my treatment very thoroughly. He and his staff were very kind and listened to all my questions and concerns. I will definitely recommend him to anyone!
He is kind, thorough, knowledgeable, professional with a wonderful bedside manner. Wish all doctor visits were as pleasant and productive!
He diagnosed me with asthma and allergies my freshman year of college, and treated me me throughout my college career! I recommend this doctor, he will talk to you very honestly about your condition and doesn't sugar coat it!
