I met Dr Perkins for my Dad's Biopsy. He was great and informative. It was the nursing staff at Baylor Scott and White on Scenic Drive, Rockwall that dropped the ball even when he had postoperative pain and is usually on Tylenol #3 but could not before his procedure. Ive never scene my Dad in that much pain. The nurse told me that his knee pain is not related to his procedure since it was his right knee. My husband and I was very unhappy with the service received by Dr Pickens and his staff. I was shocked that you can do a Biopsy of an Elder Gentleman, clipping his Prostate 12 times for Tissue Samples an Not Expect him to feel any kind of PAIN!! When my husband demonstrated he was in pain, he said myhusband was being TOO EXTRA!! Yes he felt like Cattle too so I truly agree with the comment about being treated that way. Dr Pickens processed me like cattle with no consideration of my issues. He didn't even know that you had to check for estrogen of a man when he started me on testosterone shots. Hello, males and females both have testosterone and estrogen. When you are overweight as a male, your body turns your testosterone into estrogen, and you have to take an estrogen blocker. I had kidney stones. Dr Pickens did surgery. I couldn't be happier. This kind man came in on Saturday to help me. His office staff was great and very nice. I recommend him!
