I left feeling extremely defeated. I went to see Dr. Mehta due to an ovarian cyst I have and she was extremely dismissive when it came to my medical past history. When I answered a question and it wasn’t what she was looking for, she became unkind and rude dismissing comments I would make. I had Dr Mehta as my OBGYN for both of my pregnancies. My 2nd was twins and I had to deliver at Hillcrest in case there was a need for the NICU. I was very pleased with her care and she always addressed my concerns. I don’t agree with the negative reviews at all. She did voice her opinion and was apprehensive about my tubal ligation being done when I was 24 but ultimately agreed and understood that after 3 children how young I was wasn’t an issue for me. The worst doctor I ever seen, dot answer on my question, she was angry and didn’t give me the information I needed to know
She was the rudest and most dismissive doc I have ever encountered. She didn't even bother answering my questions, and she was telling me lies as well. STAY AWAY.
My experience with this doctor was extremely upsetting. She was pushy , impatient and inserted her opinion in a situation she was not familiar with. I went to have my contraceptive removed and reinserted. Instead she felt the need to tell me I should be working on family planning without knowing my circumstances. She told me I would be an old mother , I'm doing things wrong and that I needed to get a move on this right now . Worst experience ever. She was in a rush and had horrible bedside manner. Didn't even address my issue, and it was a serious one. I would never, ever recommend her to any one. Her first words when she walked in the room were: " What can I do for you". Instead of I see you are suffering from his condition, let's examine you and see if we can come up with a solution.
She performed my hysterectomy. She was gentle and professional and she took good care of me.
