Dr. Doan is an exceptional OB/GYN and an incredible physician. What was supposed to be my scheduled delivery quickly became a life-threatening emergency, and because of Dr. Doan’s quick thinking, clinical expertise, and leadership, my life was saved. Dr. Doan is truly amazing! I’m super picky about doctors, and she is everything you could hope for—kind, personable, and so easy to talk to. She took wonderful care of me through two high-risk pregnancies, always making me feel comfortable, heard, and well cared for. Everyone I’ve referred to her loves her too, which says a lot. I’m so grateful to have her as my OBGYN and couldn’t recommend her more!
EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE. My wife arrived for her pregnancy anatomy scan and told the tech I was parking and coming right up. The scan hadn’t even started, yet the tech refused to let me in, citing “disruptions and policy.” What disruption could there be before the exam even began? I literally walked in 2 minutes after my wife. It got worse — when my wife asked to quickly take my call (again, before starting), the tech said it was against policy and even threatened to cancel the exam if she takes the call. Will do the bare minimum! If you want an OB that will do what’s she’s tasked to do which is deliver your baby, she will do that but don’t expect much more. Terrible bedside manner and her office staff isn’t the friendliest either. My wife was pregnant and in the 3rd trimester. She kept going in due to consistently having high blood pressure. I waited 3 weeks for an appointment to then show up and get told they cancelled my appointment because I did not update my medical history, mind you I was 15 minutes early, I could have filled out anything they needed, my medical history is none, very unreasonable that they turned us away. They even sent me a text message yesterday to confirm the appointment which I did so the appointment was confirmed I thought everything was good, there was no mention or link about filling out paperwork prior to appointment.
