Dr. Gia Tyson is the BEST! My medical experience with her was superb! She was compassionate, listened to me and answered all of questions/concerns! I was not rushed and her assistant was just as excellent. Matter of fact, the entire staff at Oschner Medical Complex - The Grove was wonderful!
Had it not been for Dr.Tyson and her professionalism with managing my liver failure along with her encouraging me to continue to fight I'm not sure of what the outcome would have been. God blessed me with the best Doctor, GIA Tyson and I thank God for her. Thank you Dr.Tyson for putting up with me.

Dr. Tyson cared for my dad as if he was her father. She was compassionate, patient, professional, knowledgeable, and resolved the issue with ease. Dad said that it was the most painless procedure he has ever had. Her follow up was so genuine. #1 GI Doctor in the world!!
Dr. Tyson is hands down my favorite doctor. She is knowledgable, friendly, professional, experienced, honest and trustworthy. Her response time to any question or need is fantastic. She really cares about her patients. I am lucky to have found her.
Brilliant, caring, informed, great "bedside" manner. Got me functioning again, lowered my pulse rate, put me on the right meds, lessening my chances of suffering a stroke. I cannot say enough about Dr. Tyson. She's not only a Gastroenterologist, but is a surgeon as well. Knows her stuff!
She is a great doctor with the experience and knowledge helping me with my condition. I really look forward to my visits with her. She is always so friendly and down to earth very easy to talk to as well. Thank You Dr. Tyson !
