I was a patient of Dr. Bannasch from 2017- 2023. I'll admit the medication he prescribed me helped. But during the covid period no one was allowed in the building unless they were vaccinated. So I had to do all my appintments over the phone because I made the coice to not get vaccinated. That shows very little care for your patient. Dr. Bannasch is a very intelligent person, but also a very prideful person. He doesn't not like to be questioned about his diagnosis's or decisions. He seemed to dismiss my famlies questions when... read more

"dr" Gerald Bannash told me on my first (and only) appointment (about 10 total minutes) what all of my problems were in life without doing ANY patient intake or health questions. he was rude, dismissive, would not listen to me, put words in my mouth, called me a liar, he DID NOT review my medical history which i brought and when i tried to explain symptoms and experiences with past medication therapies he would not listen and became hostile. he was arrogant and hostile with me for simply trying to explain my medical issues.

I recommend finding a provider who is invested in your wellbeing. Bannasch has to be close to retiring. My husband was seen for an eval per his PCP. Bannasch dismissed my husband’s concerns and was not invested in understanding where my husband was coming from. Bannasch chalked it up to a some vague diagnosis that’s not listed in the latest version of the DSM. His lack of modern education and personal biases completely get in the way of him providing quality service to those in need of mental health support. Someone please d... read more

I honestly have to say he made me extremely uncomfortable . He always made me feel that the way I was feeling was my fault. But depression is a disease. He was lacking compassion for his patients. I have discontinued seeing him. I really hoped this would have worked out.
