He listens to patients. He fights insurance companies for the proper treatment of Lyme and other tick- borne illnesses. Who cares if the wait is long if he rids our bodies of all tick-borne illness. He tries to do right by his patients and treats us like family.
After pbmc took over I saw this office go down hill. After that the new Dr. and partial new staff ensured that i will no longer ( after 6 years ) use this office. They don't call you with your blood results and let you sit ( cluess for weeks )sick with no answer. After calling back and asking about the testes I was told to make another appt to confirm my blood work and that i had high white blood cells ( after a tick bit) I've have now been sick over a month. It was great under Dr Ruggiero and Dr Robato was good as well. Dr Carlson who is there now on the other hand is not personable, tells me she has none of my health records after years of going to that practice and wanted me to go thru tests my previous doctors said weren’t nessesary. Since then I’ve been getting sales calls from other offices in northwell health because of her. She’s not for her patience at all just in it for the money. I have been going to PBMC in Shoreham for years. It is close to my home and easy to get to. I never, I repeat NEVER leave bad reviews and this will be my first. First of all, it’s impossible to get an appointment. It doesn’t matter what time you call, or how far in advance, they are never available. Second, you will wait in the waiting room for at least an hour. I recently started visiting walk ins and the wait times are MUCH less.
