Over 13 years ago, at the age of 28, I was rushed into emergency surgery for a ruptured diverticulitis. It wasn't great. God help you if you are overweight, because she will only focus on that, and take nothing else you say seriously. I went in for a sore throat, and she said it was due to being overweight. I changed providers shortly after that.
Physician definitely desired to dig deep into my medical history to provide the best treatment and care.

I had symptoms that no doctor could correctly diagnose me. When Dr. Kottke was called into for a second opinion, she immediately knew that it was lichen planus and still suggested a biopsy to confirm. She was correct and ever since then I always scheduled my appointments with her. I’m so grateful to how comforting she was when seeing me as there is no cure for lichen planus.
