My three visits with Dr. George Powell were completely different from the reviews which other people have submitted. My husband and I found him to be very knowledgeable and explained things in detail, he answered all questions in a way in which we could understand. On my second visit I had a nerve conductivity test, also an electromyography (EMG). The results were explained in an easy to understand way. I agree with all the below reviews. He’s ok not the best but his staff is absolutely horrible. The nurse is ok anyone in scheduling should be fired. Probably the worst overall appointment I’ve ever had. Dr Powell gives me the impression your time is worthless and he wants to try and bill you for literally everything. I’d rather fly to Oahu than see him again.

If I could give NEGATIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD. Horrible. Ive had grand mal seizures all my life. I had a MRI done in 2020 which showed a small left cerebellar developmental venous anomaly (DVA) he told me "its nothing to be concerned about" All because its a RARE CASE that DVA CAN cause seizures does not mean it doesnt exist. Every appointment im greeted with "what brings you in here today" and "how do you know youre having a seizure" "what happens during your seizure" Ive had a neurological examination done, the man who assis... read more

One star is way too high. Worst doctor on the planet. Maybe he knows some stuff and is a smart guy, but he loves nothing more than to monologue his irrelevant knowledge to you and take up all your appointment time. He forgets who you are every single time you come in. And I felt more in danger with him as my doctor than with no doctor at all. I had a seizure because I was unable to get my meds that keep me safe from him or his office. Couldn’t get anyone on the phone. The pharmacy tried to get a temporary order and the offic... read more
