I recently had cataract surgery with Dr Ryan. As with any medical procedure, I was apprehensive. I didn't need to be. The whole process went better than I had ever hoped. Within a month, my vision returned to that of a 30-year-old. I have to comment on how awesomely professional the entire experience has been. From the first meeting to the last visit, ALL the administrative and medical staff were very thoughtful, empathetic and capable. I always felt like I was in very good hands, and the results showed a great outcome.
From my first visit with Dr Geoffrey Ryan, removal of cataracts and insertion of intra ocular lenses R&L eyes at South Brisbane Day Hospital to my visit with Kate Ridgway the optometrist referred by Dr Ryan, I have only two words HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL. Everyone involved from the receptionists to all medical staff involved explained everything that was happening at all times. I certainly recommend Dr Geoffrey Ryan and Kate Ridgway.
The procedure went as planned and the results mean that I can eliminate the glaucoma drops in my right eye. The follow up check by Kate Ridgeway was informative and confirmed my confidence with Dr Ryan. I am now anxious to have my left eye's procedure carried out with confidence that I can eliminate all of my current glaucome eye drops. Great result. Len Lotz
