Had my hip replaced by Dr Van Flandern yesterday and was very pleased with the whole process. He’s very knowledgeable, pleasant and thorough. The whole process was seamless - from getting the initial appointment to deciding immediately after my consult that he was the right doctor for me. Scheduling the surgery was done immediately and there were various methods they used to provide all the information I needed to prepare for surgery as well as for the post-op recovery. Dr Vanflandern from the time that he walks into your appointment, he has all of the information you need to make a decision about what has to be done. In an hour and a half. I had x-rays of both hips, both knees and a sit down with Dr. Vanflandern, Kathy the surgical coordinator was great. She had me set up for surgery follow ups and all of the information that I needed. I was out the door at 12 o’clock. This is the way an Orthopedic practice should operate. See you in April!
Upon arriving at Dr. Van Flandern’s I knew I was in good hands. The prestigious office, the friendly staff and professionalism was a relief, and I felt This is where I want to be treated at. Dr. Van Flandern did a phenomenal job at answering my concerns and explaining preocedures. He communicates clearly. His examination was thorough, and he allowed plenty of opportunity to dialogue about my specific case. My initial impression has been an extremely positive one.
