Dr B is exceptional - unknowable to all, our child had umbilical wrapped around its neck. Had Dr B not intervened at the right time we would not be now celebrating many years. The Dr chosen by other Drs!
Dr Brieger was recommended to me by a friend and I am so thankful after now having had him as my obstetrician for the birth of my first and more recently, my second baby. He is incredibly experienced and thorough with his care but more importantly, he made me feel reassured, heard and supported throughout the entire pregnancy, as well as afterwards through my recovery. Excellent experience. Identifies what level of risk you are willing to accept and consults around that with expertise, care, insight and wisdom. With healthcare providers as patients things can be difficult but we had complete trust and confidence. Even if some of the journey didn't go as well as hoped...with skill and care everyone got through with a great outcome! That is where Geoff truly shines! Dr Brieger put my partner and I at ease from the very first appointment. He explained the reason for every test and procedure so we always felt informed. Unlike so many doctors who can come across as aloof and paternalistic, he has a relaxed bedside manner that makes you feel comfortable expressing your concerns and wishes. His receptionist, Cathy, is also very warm and personable and goes out of her way to help. I would recommend Dr Brieger for any pregnancy and particularly for complicated or higher risk pregnancies.
