Dr. Appleboom is a kind and caring surgeon. He addressed my questions, and made me feel comfortable about the entire surgical process. Dr. Appelboom had a sense of humor, as well, which also made me feel comfortable . His staff, Joanna and Brittany, were also very supportive of my concerns, and returned my phone calls without hesitation. They told me there were no “silly” quedtions ! All of my questions were important ! My osteoma in my skull has been removed and I am grateful that Dr. Appelboom was my surgeon !!!
I was referred to Dr. Appelboom by my neurologist due to several issues in my cervical spine which caused searing pain, numbness, tingling, and a lack of strength and use of my arms and hands. Dr. Appelboom examined me and reviewed my MRI images and advised me what he believed to be the best course of action, he listen very intently as I expressed my thoughts as well as my depressed state as my quality of life was very much diminished. My consultation visit with Dr. Appelboom was June of this year regarding diagnosis of Spinal Stenosis. During this visit he reviewed my MRI, I was very impressed the way he explained everything to me regarding possible impending surgery. He took his time and did not rush thru the consultation visit. On the day of surgery 9/16 he came to see me before surgery and after (twice), at that time told me when my follow up visit would be in Wayne post-surgery.
