I was asked to attend Dr Edwards Smith as part of my serious MVA 2 years ago by lawyers of the person who crashed into me. I cannot fault this woman. She didn’t ask me anything my own psychiatrist didn’t ask and I genuinely feel she was very sympathetic to my situation and as long as you are telling the truth, you have nothing to worry about. She doesn’t put words in your mouth and doesn’t make you feel like you’re being judged.
Has listened and has shown a great deal of concern and interest in my well being.
Personally speaking and my opinon only she comes across as a very cold person who benefits more from the insurance companies she contracts to rather than understand and feel for the individual person who may have been thru in some circumstances an extremely traumatic experience. She has obviously lived a very blessed, unaffected mental life which unfortunately is detrimental to the people that are requested to see her by the Insurance Companies.
Didn't listen to me and almost ruined my chances at a stable life. They made a snap decision during a phone check-in appointment that would have cost me the ability to function and when I tried to explain the risks there was no understanding.
