My wife and I will forever be grateful for Dr Gavin’s Sacks, as it was his intervention that brought our miracle daughter into this world. Following two recurrent miscarriages, Dr Sacks failed to enquire and diagnose me with endometriosis despite an extensive family history of the condition. Dr Sacks dismissed my concerns in relation to an endometriosis diagnosis and potential impact of the suspected condition on my fertility. I want to start this by saying that Dr Gavin Sacks is one of the best doctors in the IVF world. He helped us bring our son into the world, and for that I’ll always be grateful. But beyond the successful outcome, our experience was difficult in ways I wish I had felt stronger to speak up about at the time. From our first meeting in 2019, I felt judged for my body.
