I had my first appointment with Dr Nathanson yesterday and I thought he was very thorough and spent a lot of time explaining things to me. He is all business so if you’re looking for a doctor to be warm and fuzzy then keep looking. But I did find him knowledgeable and to the point. As one review said that he dismissed side effects of a medication, I did find that he is skeptical on the pains people get from statins. Made light of it but I did like him in spite of that. UNRESOLVED HE WANTED TO WAIT FOR ENDO TO FINISH TESTING ADRENALS. SHE DISAPPEARED FOR 9 MONTHS. WAS TREATED FOR PARATHYROID LOW D. NO ONE CHECKED TO SEE IF THAT FIXED. STEROID GIVEN FOR ADRENAL TEST WIPED IT OUT. PRIMARY WOULD NOT TEST UNTIL I HAD A FIT. THE USUAL FROM CAREMOUNT NOW OPTUM. HUGE REACTION FROM THIS STREOID. HE SUGESED CHANNEL BLOCKER NEVER GIVEN NO INFO ON SIDE EFFECTS. MY RESEARCH SHOWED NOT GOOD W TAKING VIT D. THIS IS NECESSARY FOR ME HAVING LUPUS THIS GROUP HAS NEVER TESTED FOR THIS.
