I have been with Dr. Silverman for six years and not only has he managed my health but has referred me to other doctors as needed. He also was concerned about an incident with my blood work and made immediate arrangements with a gastroenterologist and quite possibly saved my life.
I took my 93-year-old Mom to Dr. Silverman; I also needed to be his patient. He took his time to examine my Mom and ask questions. He is very knowledgeable and he cares about his patients.
Really listens and very thorough
His bedside comes off as arrogant and as if I was bothering him He failed to review my records prior to my visit. He was very unprepared and lacked follow-up. All he wanted to do was push me off to a specialist for a referral. He is not concerned for his patients well being. I have to call to ask when I am due for my labs or when do we need to schedule an appointment. His lack of preventative care is disappointing at best. I sent him a message about my concerns about his lack of follow-up, and scheduled routine annual check-... read more
Dr. Silverman has been my primary care physician for probably 30 years. He and his staff are fantastic in terms of the medical care and knowledge. They are also really excellent at dealing with medical anxieties and patient concerns. And Dr. Silverman make excellent referrals to specialists that I have needed.
(In spite of government and insurer demands and interference in sound medical practice...) Dr Silverman has been my PCP for five years during which I've had both knees replaced, foot surgery, and silent hypoxic pneumonia, more than enough for someone beyond his sell-by date with a bizarre collection of chronic issues, each of which interferes with mitigation of others. I am very happy to have somehow collided with Dr. Silverman; he is, for starters, well-informed, receptive and constructive, patient, and always good-humored.... read more
I have been a patient for 30 years. He diagnosed my heart problems before I knew I had them and saved my life.
Excellent doctor who didn’t hesitate to send me to the specialist I needed. Good staff.
Dr. Silverman is my mother’s doctor. Up until today, he would have received 4 or 5 stars. My mother entered palliative care. I asked for documentation for a FML. Dr. Silverman wrote a letter, however my employer required a form which basically was the same information but on the form. His nurse called and said Dr. Silverman refused to fill it out. And if I wanted it, we would have to bring my bed ridden mother to his office. So much for quality care. Do not make him the primary
