I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer on 9/2016 had spread to my lympth nodes on the right side of my neck along with a prathyroid issue. I had the first surgery to remove my thyroid and a parathyroid gland and they removed 6 nodes and 4 of the 6 were cancer. Had radiation treatment after surgery. My thyroglobin numbers never got to where my endocrinologist wanted them. 11/17 during a ultrasound they found a spot on the right side of my neck. Dr. Clayman is the nicest and a wonderful surgeon. I had a total thyroidectomy, the scar after 2 months is barely noticeable. Wonderful experience during a scary time. I highly recommend Dr. Clayman and his staff is very helpful as well.
Dr. Clayman is amazing! It is so refreshing to have a surgeon of his expertise with such an amazing bedside manner! Not only is he a top notch surgeon and professional but he is empathetic, kind and just a calming soul. I deal with a lot of anxiety so surgery was very scary for me.
