Do not go to him if you want a doctor who listens to you, even your questions. I have never ever felt so disrespected. He probably means well but talks to patients like they don’t know anything and interrupts constantly mid question or sentence. He wants you to listen and not speak or ask anything at all at any point of the visit. My Husband and I had wonderful experiences with Dr Shi and Staff. I do need to say, this is a Doc who comes from China and sometimes, other people do not understand him. I always try to make exceptions. Listen to him with your heart and brain. Good luck to ALL.
We had a good experience with Dr Shi and his staff at both his Jackson and Folsom offices. My mom had a very difficult illness and I really appreciate that Dr Shi fought hard to help her. We always felt we were receiving the best advise and recommendations.
