I saw Dr. Spector through Teladoc and he listened to my concerns and was able to provide suggestions. Quick and easy appointment!
I was with Dr. Gary Spector for almost 20 years. Upon my last visit ( for a renewal of a prescription) he basically told me I no longer needed that office and told me to sign release form to send my records to a different doctor because I asked why no one called me about a blood test that showed I had a blood disease. He was very unprofessional in our talk and interrupted me many times, I wouldn’t go back to him if he was the last doctor on earth
Annoying as a dad, but legitimately one of the best doctors alive. He saved my life when I came home with a collapsed lung and didn't even realize it - I would've gone to sleep and never woken up. He also extended his own father's life by nearly a decade by calling his dad's doctors daily to make sure they were actually doing their jobs (so many don't). He's not the type to sugarcoat things. Dr. Gary Spector was extremely unprofessional: interrupted me multiple times when I tried to explain my condition, stated that my regular doctor's offices were guilty of medical malpractice due to the fact that they are closed on Sundays, was overall dismissive and abruptly ended the call mid-appointment. I'd like to use Teladoc again as it's a benefit of my insurance, but this was a very bad experience.
