Dr. Weiss is knowledgeable. If you do the research and come prepared with questions in advance of the appointment and ask deeper questions during the consult he provides guidance and recommends basic treatment to try and pinpoint the issue. The treatment plan explanation is superficial, you will need to research how to best incorporate it and develop your own plan to monitor your progress.
Dr. Weiss is personable. A Pleasure to meet him however, as he diagnosed my issue quickly, it is probably my fault that I did not follow up with questions such as: are there other options besides an operation ? Should I be careful what I eat from here on out? Should I not lift heavy items so as to not strain myself further? He did not explain either the seriousness of this procedure or offer other options. Doc was down-to-earth, thorough, & I’m excited to continue working with him. Thankful to have a provider who knew what PCOS was - many don’t & it’s super common. Appreciated the doc didn’t shame me for my lifestyle choices & weight - again, not as common as one would think!
