Dr. Fred Williams delivered my baby 16 years ago, and I have always regarded him as an excellent OBGYN—one of the best in Hampton Roads, in my opinion. However, my recent experience with his office staff has been deeply disappointing and frustrating. Absolutely amazing, very attentive and caring. He listens to you, and makes you very comfortable.
My first baby Dr Fred was literally amazing. I wouldn’t have chosen anyone else to deliver my second baby but his office staff were rude and dismissive of my concerns about my pregnancy. Even the ER doctor was surprised they wouldn’t see me early especially since the ER doctor recommended I get into my obgyn asap. I now have to find a new doctor when I never wanted anyone else to deliver my baby but I can’t keep raising my blood pressure talking to his rude staff. In my darkest hours, in 2005, I was told during my second trimester that I would need to terminate my pregnancy due to severe fluid loss. As I prepared for the unthinkable, this doctor stepped in and changed my life. He gave me a second opinion, offering a glimmer of hope just minutes before the procedure, and referred me to the maternal-fetal specialists at EVMS.
