I owe my son’s life to Dr. Placencia. My child was born 7 weeks premature at Methodist Hospital in Houston’s medical center via emergency c-section. My son was born not breathing and limp, and was rushed into the hands of Dr. Placencia, a neonatologist with Texas Children’s. Dr. Placencia revived my child immediately, saving his life and most likely sparing him from severe brain damage.
