Almost 3 decades of seeing Dr. Hou and his colleagues. We had our daughter 9 year's ago and service keeps going worse and worse. Now they will be charging $50 for late and no shows. How about them? Your appointment is at 10 and they will see you before 11 or after 11. Paying parking for 1hr just to wait. What is the point of making an appointment? Instead of paying 1hr of parking it's going to be 2hrs. Pathetic
If I can rate Dr. Hou a zero star I would. We were stuck without a family doctor after our GP suddenly shut down. Even though we were very grateful to Dr.Hou’s office for accepting new patient, our positive experience ended there. He is always over booked. Even if you have an appointment, you’ll wait at least an hour in the common area before waiting for another 30 minutes inside, only for him to see you for 2 mins before dismissing your concerns and moving onto the next appointment. Dr. Hou’s clinic is never on time, even if you have an appointment. The parking lot downstairs charges $5 per hour, and you always end up paying for at least two hours. I strongly suspect that Dr. Hou has some sort of partnership with the parking lot.
My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Hou for almost 2 years, and in that time, he has met our medical needs with compassion, professionalism and speed. Dr. Hou is maybe the finest diagnostician I have had the pleasure to come into contact with. The front-desk staff are dedicated, polite and hard-working. My only quibble--and it is a small one, considering the level of care we get--is that the office is not fully computerized.
i had "applied"(2years ago) to have Dr Hou as my family dr and i am seldom sick, so i had no need to see him until today. i called last week to setup this appointment and was told i could ONLY have a phone appointment approx 5days later. i was told i would be called between 1700hr-2000hrs. When they called i had to be on hold for about 4mins. i then proceeded to tell my issues. thei had 4 and didnt know which to prioritize so i thought by mentioning all he could tell me which were most pressing. i know most consultation rule... read more
