I really don't like to post negative comments, however my family has been traumatized by Dr. Caliendo and his staff. First off, let me begin by saying that I chose Dr. Caliendo to perform a colectomy on my 18 year old son because we were confident in his ability to help us after meeting with him. The thing that stood out about Dr. Caliendo is that he kept saying "if it were any of my sons, this is what I would do". As a parent, those are reassuring words that you want to hear from a doctor. I've been dealing with a health issue for over 20 years, and it really got worse in 2018. I saw many doctors and had loads of tests, like colonoscopies, but nothing helped. But ... read more

This guy almost killed me. Simple small bowel resection. After done it ruptured which lead to sepsis, dehydration, kidney failure twice, two additional surgeries, and over four months in the hospital and seven months out of work. I may be "the exception" and that ALMOST never happens. Well he did it to me. I'm still not back to normal two years later. Thanks a lot doc.

On June 20, 2017 Dr. Frank Caliendo and his team performed a complete pan-proctocolectomy with ileostomy on my husband, Anthony. My husband had a very aggressive form of cancer. His treatment was radical and life altering to say the very least. Its is now 5 years later and yesterday we learned the results of my husbands yearly scan. After 5 long years we heard the words CANCER FREE and could finally breathe. I/we want to thank Dr. Caliendo and his team and staff for saving Anthony's life. Make no mistake were it not for this... read more
