Dr. Borao is the epitome of a knowledgeable, proficient and caring surgeon. At my first visit, he animatedly explained the status of my hiatal hernia. You could tell that he was well versed in his field and comfortable explaining the surgical process. Even better, you could tell that he loves what he does! My surgery went without a hitch. I left the hospital after one night's stay. My recovery has been relaxed and easy. I thank Dr. Borao and his team for an amazing procedure.
My experience with Dr.Borao was stellar. From the moment I met him and his staff through surgery and recovery ,they've been fabulous. Monmouth Medical took exceptional care of me while there as well.

My father in law had esophageal/stomach cancer with a very high mortality rate at age 78. Dr Borao performed successful surgery. He passed away 10 years later unrelated to his surgery. This is how I came to use Dr. Borao. I had an appendiceal tumor that was cancer after biopsy. The procedure was 100% successful. Followed by a stage three hiatal hernia. Again 100% successful.
