Dr Duperier has a prestige bedside manner. I came to him post gastric sleeve performed by another doctor in San Angelo Texas. It was not done correctly or healed wrong one or the two we could not confirm. Dr. D performed a revision doing a complete gastric bypass on me to correct the mishap I had from the previous surgery. I met with Dr. Duperier to have my parathyroid removed. He was kind, patient and thorough as he reviewed my 17 pages of labs and explained in detail the procedure and what I should expect during recovery. I found him to be very approachable and easy to talk to yet still professional. I wish all my doctors had such an excellent bedside manner.
If you're looking for someone to remove your thyroid AND has excellent bedside manner then KEEP looking elsewhere! Dr. Duperior walked into the room, never introduced himself, smashed me back onto the bed for an ultrasound - using enough force as if he was handling a large male rather than a small female.
