I know people always say they don’t typically do this. But I think this literally may be only the third or fourth review that I have given on Google. And this one being the very first bad one. Dr. Arena may have been the worst doctor I have ever had. He is a Doctor who only cares about treating the symptoms with medication without finding out exactly what’s wrong. He is very dismissive. Dr Arena talked over me, was dismissive, and ordered the wrong tests. He also seems not to believe that ADHD is real and wanted me to read a long covid article by a known covid conspiracy theorist. Oh yeah and he told me to just push myself to exercise more as treatment for long covid which is terrible advice for someone with the disorder and is widely known to be bad advice. His office also sent me to get testing in Slidell where they said it was unnecessary for me to drive that far out of my way when they could have just d... read more
I DO NOT recommend Dr Arena to ANYONE. He is totally unprofessional, has NO bedside manner whatsoever, doesn’t want to hear what YOU have to say, instead wants to talk OVER YOU. Came in, DID NOT shut the door ( everyone in the hallway was looking in and could hear everything i said), continued to stand the whole 10 minutes or less he was in the room, I literally had to MAKE HIM do a physical exam ( like he is PAID to do!) i sat in the chair, not on the exam table BESIDE ME, every test result i gave him from my labs/ ultrasou... read more
After 8 years he remembered me. Awesome! Great bedside manner, friendly, takes his time and listened.
Dr. Frank Arena saved my daughters life 8 years ago. He also saved me from losing my leg and/or death. He's a straight shooter and a very well respected doctor. I have and will continue to recommend him. He is an awesome doctor!!!
