Dr. Arena has been caring for my family and I for many years, and we have always been impressed with his integrity and dedication. He is a great physician who prioritizes his patients’ well-being over unnecessary procedures, focusing only on what is truly medically necessary for the best possible outcomes. He is very straight forward and doesn’t beat around the bush. His genuine compassion and commitment to quality of care is wonderful. I would not trust anyone else with my or my family’s healthcare.

He does not make me feel like I will be forced to just undergo procedures all of the time. He takes time explaining things to me. He makes sure I am comfortable with the plan of care he comes up with while also explaining all risks and benefits to each decision. He is kind, compassionate and extremely intelligent”.

Great bedside manner, takes his time with patients, does not disregard the patient's wished. Collaborates with patient's and patient's other doctors to make sure we are receiving proper care. I would not see any other cardiologist, and I would not let any of my family members see anyone other than Dr. Arena either. He is truly the best cardiovascular doctor in Louisiana!
I know people always say they don’t typically do this. But I think this literally may be only the third or fourth review that I have given on Google. And this one being the very first bad one. Dr. Arena may have been the worst doctor I have ever had. He is a Doctor who only cares about treating the symptoms with medication without finding out exactly what’s wrong. He is very dismissive.
