I find Dr. Kotar to be a very caring, knowledgeable, pleasant Dr. It took me 5 doctors and specialists before I was referred to Dr. Kotar by my husband's heart doctor. I was very pleasantly surprised. I was in much pain, due to rheumatoid arthritis, and none of the previous doctors or specialists could find my issue or prescribe a solution that helped my pain. Dr McFarland is very caring, takes his time with his patients. He listens. we have been with him for many years, most of his practice. Very dedicated man. i do recommend him to everyone who asks me, who is your doc?

After a ten year relationship, Kotar decided he couldn't give good medical care as I refused to take screening phone calls in the middle of my working with children 0-5 when his staff would call and ask the 'are you safe' and 'are you having psychological issues' routine but questions I needed privacy to answer. He also felt I should close my child care program to schedule routine screenings. I repeatedly asked for info on evening or Saturday availability and never received any information.
Listenened and was very compassionate of what I had to say. Helped me in 15 minutes more than any doctor I ever had. I have been seeing Dr Puriagahala for many years.
He listens to you he spotted my hubby had rheumatoid arthritis immediately that other doctors missed ran up 2 flights of stairs to get him an appointment with a great rheumatologist
He asks questions and listens to my response. He is easy to talk to. The office always follows up on test results.
My family have been seeing dr mcfarland for years now and he is very caring and helpful good with referrals when you need it and both he and his staff makes sure we keep up with well checks . His staff always helps with scheduling other procedures/ tests as recommened by Dr after the visit and they are always in network He helps to keep us well I also like the blood testing with no appointment needed by his staff and the quik turnaround results delivered by them
