One of the worst provider I have ever met. Rude and condescending. Will present with a "fake friendly demeanor at first, but is it not genuine; his tone and approach changes throughout your visit. He will tell you during your visit how he have been in the field for so many years, yet is not able to definitely tell you what is actually going on based on the symptoms that you are present. When trying to explain what is going on with you, he will become abrasive and state that he only wants "yes or no" answers and states that h... read more
Doctor Franco was one of the best persons I have ever met He was very patient and thorough. He listened to all my problems patiently and made me feel comfortable and put me at ease when I was worried. He also gave me multiple options for the treatment instead of compelling me to take meds. He had a smiling face and friendly demeanor. Would recommend him definitely.
I have know Dr Campanella since he was a Intern at U of I Hospital he is a kind and careing Dr he takes time to listen to your concerns I wish he was still may Dr
I set up an appointment after getting a referral for a neurologist. The appointment went as it should with physical exam, tests, etc. However, my husband and I still had deep concerns so had a lot to ask him, and Campanella actually rolled his eyes several times as my husband asked questions and seemed quickly irritated by us. He also gave short, uninsightful responses via northshore connect after imaging tests were done. I cannot trust someone this unempathetic and unprofessional.
Very positive experience. While the health news was very troubling, Dr Campanella’s compassion, knowledge, patience, and kindness was ever present. We were also very pleased to have an earlier appt open up for us. I would definitely recommend him!
Dr. Campanella is very knowledgeable and explain things in terms that you can understand. He is also very personable and easy to talk to, however, it is very difficult to reach staff in the office. The phones often go unanswered and when messages are left in the general mailbox, I rarely receive a return phone call. I have to call several times in order to reach a staff member and it only seems that after leaving frustrated messages that I actually receive return phone calls.
I first met Dr. Campanella 18 months ago in the emergency room at Christ Hospital. His bedside manner was unbelievable. My family and I was made to feel so at ease at a very scary moment in my life. He took the time to explain what was happening to me, why and what needed to be done. He visited me while I was in the hospital and during my follow-up visit he took all the time needed for me to feel comfortable before I left his office. I will most certainly recommend others to him. He is God sent.
