I like Dr. O'Donnell and his staff..I think he does the best he can but, the office notes don't correctly reflect the visit, I have post op headaches and not migraines and he still wants me doing monthly injections for migraines which are expensive and ineffective! I wish he would actually hear what I'm saying because I don't fit into a typical migraines situation. As he stated himself, he is not a general neurologist, only treats migraines. Gets upset that I stopped meds that he told me to stop via the patient portal due to massively painful side effects. Took the one medicine I can tolerate for neck/occipital nerve pain that was prescribed by my PCP off my chart where I had to make an appt with my PCP to get it corrected and get my refill sent in. My appointment went like this. I was listing a myriad of neurological issues that come in waves that started last October. He gas lit me and discredited everything I had to say. Then while my fiancé and I were still talking he started walking out of the room. Provided nothing at all not even a recommendation for how to proceed. Just “Well everything appears to be fine let’s see you back in 3 months.” I hope anyone reading this decides to find another doctor.
