To be honest I don't understand the purpose of physchiatrists. I have had several and I do not feel like they listen or understand. I took 1 computer test here and now ADHD was completely ruled out. However I LOVE puzzles so of course I was going to do great. I knew the purpose of each test and enjoyed it so of course I was able to focus. Dr.Perez and Dr.Grey have been only helpful and supportive in taking care of my mental health, highly recommended.
This is not about the Physicians behavior but the lack of compassion by the staff for the people in the community. Yesterday my mother (65), who has a disability (multiplesclerosis), was waiting for my elderly grandmother (87) at an attorney’s office next door. The attorney’s policy required she/ family stay outside while drafting my Grandmother's will. I have been seeing Dr. Perez for two months now, and he has taken a vacation each month. I have been receiving treatment twice a week, but have to pause when he goes on vacation. The nurses assure me that going without my treatment is fine and no bad will come of missing so many treatments, but I have my doubts. Christina was a great doctor. I felt heard and she would find different alternatives to help with my many health issues. The problem is their rule about paying $75. If you miss a virtual appointment. They do not call to remind you when is time for the call. They send an email the day before. Why not call to see why I am not logged in? I was on my phone texting while waiting to login but with my brain fog ( probably ADHD too) that was enough of a distraction to forget about the call.
