I was looking forward to Chien being my PCP, after an appointment been following up for about a month with paperwork for work. He incompletely sent the papers over to my job, the receptionist kept saying they sent it over correctly within the first week. Up until a month later today, the receptionist will answer and hang up or they ignore completely until I call from different numbers.
I am so disappointed and confused by the experience with Dr. Chien and his office. Dr. Chien was wonderful in person, was thorough and seemed very bubbly and caring, and had me do some blood tests for an annual physical. The post appointment experience has been quite terrible. It turned out there were some concerning results with my blood test, so I called the office to speak with the doctor to review them and discuss next steps. I wish I had listened to the warnings in the reviews before going to this office. Despite never having issues with medical professionals before, my experience here was concerning. After my annual physical, I discovered I needed treatment for something, but instead of receiving any after-care, I was told I needed to cough up $150 for a follow-up fee just to speak with the doctor. Despite asking the front desk to speak with the doctor and making numerous follow-up calls over a week, I was met with silence. I ultimately had to ... read more
