My initial consult with Dr. Fariba was one with a stern, rushed and invasive experience. Her walls were littered with newspaper clippings of herself and figurenes of herself too! So strange. After a quick 10 minute chat regarding my cycle and my hormonal concerns, Dr. Fariba told me I needed to go on the pill and I will feel better. Dr Fariba recently assisted me with a few gyny issues involving surgery and I am forever grateful for her professionalism and expertise. There is no fluffy approach during your consultation, but rather direct recommendations which were best suited toward my situation. Dr Fariba is a wonderful female leader who stands up for womens rights and even performs corrective surgery to many women savaged by FGM. Incredible and yet another reason I chose her for my surgery. My appointment was one of the worst healthcare related experiences I've ever had. The lack of professionalism was absolutely astounding.
I was referred to Dr Willison. At my initial consultation, she made me feel uncomfortable and ill at ease. My appointment also felt rushed. She asked if I plan on having children, and when I said no, she gave me a stern look and said "What's wrong with young people these days, they don't want to have children". I'm in my late thirties.
