Never again stay away My experience with Dr. Merchant was deeply disappointing. Despite being referred to ENT by my GI for ongoing issues, he dismissed my concerns, relied on outdated scans, and said my GI needs to read up on things instead of addressing my symptoms. As many others have said here, absolutely rude, nasty person. He should either retire or change professions.
Very disappointing and concerning experience. At my first visit, I was seen by a PA who reviewed my CT scan, diagnosed a sinus infection, and prescribed medication. I was instructed to follow up with the physician in the same office. Just one week later, at my second appointment, Dr. Faisal Merchant told me I did not have a sinus infection, directly contradicting the PA’s diagnosis and the treatment I had already started. Saw him on Friday a week after getting diagnosed with an acute sinus infection at urgent care. I knew it was still bad. Dr. Merchant rushed in and out on the following Friday. No real conversation. I went the next day to urgent care. I was diagnosed with a sinus and ear infection. Dr. Merchant nothing.
Very rude dr passed judgment right away did nothing but say smoking is 100% the full issue would not answer questions got upset when asked to stop saying stuff about the smoking and said IF YOUR GOING TO SEE ME YOUR GOING TO HEAR ABOUT IT EVERY SINGLE TIME we stated we would not come back to see him we will see another dr and then to add the icing to the cake he makes it so we cant see any other dr at there offices blocking care after the 1st vist and what we thought the issue was is on the paperwork we got in the mail along... read more
