I always enjoy my appointments with Dr. Galstian. She has a holistic approach to health and understands the importance of diet and gut health for our overall health, including immune function and mental health. She always listens carefully to my symptoms. When another doctor brushed me off and the lump in my throat was from anxiety, Dr. Galstian asked me what time I eat, what I eat, etc and sent me to an ENT right away who found I had bad acid reflux that was inflaming my esophagus.

I've been with Dr. Galstian for over 6 years I think. I'm particular about my PCP; during those 6 years, I have lost my insurance, gotten other insurance, tried other PCPs, and always return to her for the following reasons: - She believes my symptoms. I've been gaslit by other doctors. Dr Galstian takes everything I share into consideration, runs the right tests to rule things out, refers me to really great places if something is out of her reach. The coordination is really terrible. They canceled my second appointment in the last minute and would like me to reschedule. My husband and I have been waiting for annual physical examination results for more than 3 weeks. No any responses from our follow-up email. Yes! still not get the results yet. Although, you made an appointment in advance, they won’t prepare to finish everything (which they can! It’s just an annual health checkup! ) in one session. You have to come back again for EKG...and again for Pap test..and again... read more

I went to Dr. Galstian for years because it was hard to find someone in network in my area. However, she's always very judgmental about weight, scolding me for blaming BC for weight gain, and her staff is bad at filing claims. I have to chase them down about it often. After my most recent visit, I'll never go again. They told me my travel vaccines weren't covered and charged $280, but my husband went to his doctor soon after and was just charged a $20 copay. Dr. Galstian is a fantastic doctor. Her office is well run. Her PAs are amazing. There is always availability for walk ins and she always takes the time to listen.

Had a terrible experience with this doctor. She prescribed 3 different strong medicines including antibiotics and steroids for a common cold. I didn't take any of it and felt better the next day. The lady from the front desk came in to tell me my insurance wouldn't cover the visit and if I wanted it to be covered I would have to come back for a 2nd appt. couldn't get the lab results for months had to call 3 times, seems like they mailed it to the wrong address !
