Our experience with Dr. Davenport in the ER was extremely concerning. My niece was diagnosed as moderately dehydrated after two days of persistent vomiting, minimal fluid intake, no wet diapers, and a 103+ fever lasting over 10 days due to RSV. Despite these significant symptoms, she was discharged while still unable to tolerate oral fluids. We specifically requested IV fluids due to her inability to keep water or medication down.
