Went to schedule an appointment with her, and while I was on the phone with the scheduler I saw this and it stopped me cold. I mentioned it to the scheduler. One positive review said people expect the doctor to be a miracle worker. That misses the point. That response felt non responsive to the actual concerns being raised. I understand some doctors approach patients like, “To a hammer, everything is a nail,” or they want you to move on quickly. My advice to the doctor is simple. 100% agree with the other reviewers. Not very polite at all. Very unsympathetic and unprofessional. Did not listen to my issues and did not seem to really care. This is my second visit with her and I was rubbed the wrong way both times. If it is not Rhematoid Arthritis then she shows no other interest. My bloodwork shows inflammatory antibodies and I have symptoms of autoimmune muscle pain. She wrote on my paper joint pain….when that is not what I complained of. Some of these reviews are from people who likely have conditions that are not easily diagnosed and are expecting miracle cures and relief. If you know anything about autoimmune conditions or osteoarthritis, many who suffer never find any complete relief and must learn to make life adjustments with activy, PT, diet and attitude. I have had several visits with Dr McBride. I left uncomfortable every time.... No advice, no guidance, just constant blood work with no results. Still in pain and it's a waste of my time. And I'm always left with a million questions about my health.
Absolutely the most shocking experience seeing this “medical professional”. The other reviews here should have scared us away. Unprofessional, lack of medical knowledge, and an absolutely terrible practitioner. Patients beware, she will scream and shout at vulnerable, sick patients. Please stay away! If I could rate a negative five stars, I would. I will be escalating further to the medical board. Incompetent is an understatement.
