He is kind, compassionate, patient with me, experienced, and actively listens to me and works to create a treatment plan that is best suited to my needs. Dr. Rutstein is absolutely WONDERFUL! He has been so helpful to me over the past year, and my anxiety has become so much more manageable. He really listens to what I have to say, answers all of my questions thoughftully and thoroguhly, and truly cares about my well-being. I feel so comfortable working with him and that I am in such good hands. I’d recommend Dr. Rutstein to anyone! He’s by far the best doctor I’ve ever had.
I'd give him less if I could. I went to him for a 9/11 related condition. I saw him for a couple of years. He talks too much. Is too quick to prescribe. Is full of himself and does not do medicine properly. I didn't need to know that his wife struggles with her weight for years, or that he got a new dog and he uses his family Dyson hair dryer to dry the dog after a bath or any of the other personal stuff he told me in my sessions. Worst front office personal I have experienced! Left multiple messages... FINALLY got a live person, only to be told they are NOT taking new patients. All other research and websites says Dr Rutstein IS taking new patients. Returning calls is common courtesy, polite staff would be nice, but seriously lacking at this office!! Feel like I dodged a bullet by NOT going to him!!!
I was told by his staff when I asked if he was taking new patients, that he always calls back new patients to "talk to them" first. After not hearing from him after a week I called the office again and was told the same thing. I never heard from him.
