Very wise dr with many years of experience. His staff is very friendly and helpful. My children love Dr. Satterfield!
Getting prescriptions filled is a nightmare. The local pharmacy in McCaysville agrees. Pathetic! I just moved to a new state/doctor and glad I won’t have to deal with this office again. I’ve never had to beg a doctor to fill regular monthly maintenance prescriptions before and this has been a horrible experience. Don’t use this practice if you have regular meds that need to be filled!!!
This is the most apathetic doctor I have ever met in my entire life. He does not respond to refill requests from the local pharmacy. I have to call them two or three times to have them check the fax machine, the drugstore doesn't understand why we go through this each month. Then when you call them, he wants to see you. And then he makes up some excuse as to why he's not refilling the meds. Like you're not his patient, or the drugstore doesn't have you in the system. Great doctor. He's treated me for 2 different things and was right on target both times. I'd recommend him to anybody looking for an experienced, extremely qualified doctor with great conversational, friendly manner!
