HORRIBLE! Took my 3 year old son there this morning as a referral from Dr. Hylan and it was the worst experience. He was rude and very cold to my son. When I asked him if the would sedate him for his cavities (in which two need crowns) he looked at me as if I was crazy and told me no. That they would strap him down in body and head restraints and pry his mouth open! When I told him that I wouldn't have that and asked for referral to someone that would lightly sedate him and told him I have caresource for my insurance provide... read more

This man should not be working with children. He is very cold, mean, and unfriendly. I have two friends who went to him and had the same unpleasant experience, but both of them also complained that he forcefully held their children down and then held their children's mouth shut if they got nervous. Go somewhere else. It's important that your kids' first dentist experiences are comfortable and friendly enough to want to go back.

Dr. Gordon is an excellent dentist!!! He was my dentist from the time I was 2 years old until I was 20. Unless your children are really unruly... I can never imagine Dr. Gordon ever being too rough. He makes a very comfortable setting in the waiting room and the operating area. The staff is very kind and excellent! Everyone makes sure to actually get to know your name and know you and your child. Each patient gets a tooth brush and a cool little toy from the treasure chest. And there are hardly any kids that come out crying ... read more
