Always a pleasure to see him
Over medicated me with Depakote to the point I was unable to walk. Addressed this problem with the doctor, was given electr? test on my legs which I passed. Hammerberg then canceled my MRI. Spent a miserable 18 months with cane, wheel chair, saw two other neurologists who diagnosed Parkinson's and then suspected other Parkinsonian disorders, but 3rd neurologist, Dr. Rajev Kumar actually read my pharmaceutical list and immediately suspended Depakote. Within 5 weeks I was back to normal walking
While Dr. Hammerberg seems to be very knowledgeable in the field of neurology, his office visits are a disaster i.e., expect to wait a half hour to an hour, or longer past your appointment time. And, as usual with most visits with doctors in general you're visit time is 5-15 minutes. Again, Dr. Hammerberg is a very good doctor, but time management is questionable. Oh, and if you have a prescription that needs refilled make sure you keep track of that, I'd allow a week.
